When the holiday finished...

Honestly guys, January 4th? One of the scariest days of my life.
My brain was still in Detty December. My body was present. My soul was in the vacation I didn’t kuku have money for.
But somehow, last week came, some of us resumed… and survived.
Last week though… I heard so many hilarious resumption tales, but my favourite has to be this one.
So my friend who is an oga resumed work on Monday, bright and early.
Only to discover that… Not one single staff showed up. Not one.
The office was quiet. Too quiet.
I can imagine he was flabbergasted. Weak. Confused.
Wondering, did I miss something? Is today actually a public holiday?”
After probably pacing around and checking his calendar five times, he finally called a meeting to ask, “What exactly is going on??”
That’s when they told him
“Sir… you said resumption is Monday the 6th.Today is 5th.
Ment???
If this isn’t the most accurate summary of January energy, I don’t know what is.
So if you’re still feeling slow, unmotivated, or slightly irritated by emails already flying in, at least you are not like these employees. Or if you are one of them and by some reason you came across this mail.
